Meet the Crew of Friday Night Under the Lights!

Russ Robinson is the Voice of High School Athletics in Mississippi. A broadcaster for over 30 years, he broadcast the National Championship game by Mississippi College in 1989. He is the current radio broadcaster for the Jackson Prep Patriots, as well as being the broadcaster for  MHSAA Championship football games and MHSAA Championship basketball games. Russ has broadcasted over 5,200 games, making him the most prolific broadcaster of high school athletics of all time.



George Broadstreet has been a fixture in Mississippi football for the last 35 years and a co-host of the FNUTL scoreboard show. Together with Russ he has seen the whole spectrum, from high school to college football in Mississippi.

Joel Norris is our Man in 8-Man Football. Every week, Joel’s “Cray-Z-8s” reports all the happenings in 8-man football in Mississippi, from the rules to the teams making the news. Join us every week for Joel’s Crazy 8s!




Chris Saxton is our Man behind the Mike at the FNUTL scoreboard show. Chris is the producer of the show and keeps us rolling both on the audio and video.  Chris has produced both MAIS and MHSAA championship games.

Dr. Dave is the Webmaster and Internet operator for Friday Nights Under the Lights. Along with working the webpage David handles the live Instant Messaging for the FNUTL network, plus puts together the podcasts of the show.



Ty Bailey is the board operator for the LIVE VIDEO feed for the FNUTL radio show.  Ty sets up the show so you can see Russ and the crew on the live online video stream every Friday night. Turn on Friday Nights and watch as well as listen!
