The Little Brown Jug Returns to Hattiesburg
The Little Brown Jug is back in Hattiesburg.
In the 101st annual Battle of the Little Brown Jug, the Hattiesburg Tigers defeated the Laurel Tornadoes 34-14 and returned the Little Brown Jug to Hattiesburg.
Hattiesburg, after starting the year 0-4, swept the Region 3-5A and finished with a 7-0 record in the region, with a final record of 7-4. They host next week’s playoff game against Vancleave. The Tornadoes finished the year at 6-5 with a 4-3 record in the region, finishing fourth. They will travel next week to face the Picayune Maroon Tide.
