SPECIAL GUEST FRIDAY NIGHT: RECE DAVIS OF COLLEGE GAMEDAY!

Rece Davis, host of College Gameday, is coming to visit us on Friday Night Under the Lights FRIDAY, October 28th! Rece is in Jackson with the whole College Gameday group to preview the game between Jackson State Tigers and the Southern University Jaguars.

Davis works as an anchor on SportsCenter and serves as host of various other programs on the network, including College GameDay football road show and basketball show. Since 2021, he has been ESPN’s lead host for international soccer events.

Rece is a native son. Davis is a native of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, according to his ESPN bio. He played quarterback and shooting guard at Muscle Shoals High School, where he graduated from in 1984. He graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast film communication. In 2018, he was inducted into the University of Alabama College of Communication and Information Sciences Hall of Fame.
